Halsted Corporation has been a leader in the manufacture
of textile bags for over 130 years. Since the beginning in New
York City at 64 Pearl Street, The Company has designed and manufactured
bags to meet the changing demands of consumer needs.
Halsted, recognizing the need to expand due to steady sales growth, relocated to Jersey City, New Jersey in 1927. The facility and organization, much larger than in New York, has continued to support the chemical, mining, agriculture and feed/grain industries through its network of distributors, with quality products, innovative services and excellence in customer service and support.
Today, with facilities in New Jersey, Michigan, Oregon and South Carolina, Halsted maintains its leadership in the textile bag community.
